Running a Relayer on Google Cloud

I’m following the directions here to set up a relay server on Google Cloud.
https://docs.opengsn.org/relay-server/tutorial.html#directions

All is good until the steps involving rdc.
https://docs.opengsn.org/relay-server/tutorial.html#the-docker-container

Running this command (with my VM name):
./rdc addalias

always results in the following error:
-bash: ./rdc: Permission denied

I have tried sudo and get the following error:
sudo: unable to execute ./rdc: Permission denied

I have also tried changing ownership of rdc to my ssh user and allowing read/write/execute.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

What ended up working in this case was in place of VM Name, using vm-username@hostname

chmod +x ./rdc
and then it’ll be executable.
